What The Client Wanted
Our client came to us while their new executive home in Little Horwood was still being built, looking to create a walk-in dressing room that felt stylish, luxurious, and practical to use every day. They wanted the space to have the feel of a high-end boutique hotel, while still providing plenty of well-thought-out storage for clothing, shoes, and accessories.
The brief centred around creating a fully bespoke design that would maximise the available space while maintaining a clean, refined aesthetic. Ample hanging space, beautifully organised drawer storage, open shelving, and carefully considered lighting were all key priorities. The client also wanted a central feature that would elevate the room and provide additional storage without compromising the overall sense of openness.

What Furniche Did
Working closely with the client, we designed a completely bespoke walk-in dressing room that perfectly balanced premium finishes with practical everyday functionality. Using our tailored design process, we carefully planned every section of the room to ensure the layout flowed seamlessly while making the very best use of the available space.
The dressing room was finished in beautiful oak, paired with elegant linen back boards that brought warmth and texture to the space while giving it a soft, modern feel. To enhance the overall look and make the room feel even more luxurious, we added integrated LED lighting throughout the cabinetry, creating both practical lighting and a warm ambient glow.
At the centre of the room, we designed and manufactured a striking 16-drawer island finished with a beautiful stone-effect worktop. This became the focal point of the dressing room, delivering extensive additional storage while enhancing the boutique-inspired aesthetic the client envisioned.
Every part of the dressing room was designed around the client’s day-to-day needs, with a mix of hanging space, open shelving, and made-to-measure drawers to keep everything neatly organised and easy to access. The soft-close drawers, finished with subtle brass detailing, added a luxurious finishing touch while bringing a real sense of quality and craftsmanship to the space.
