What The Client Wanted
These clients came to Furniche looking for a statement piece that would completely transform their living space. They had a large wall that felt bare and underutilised, and they wanted something that could double up as both a stunning focal point and a practical storage solution. After checking out some of our previous projects online, they felt confident our team could help them meet their interior goals.
The clients had specific requirements: they needed a central area for their wall-mounted TV, plenty of display space, and additional concealed storage to keep everyday clutter out of sight. They also wanted something that would feel timeless and sophisticated, fitting seamlessly with their home’s classic style. With decades of experience in creating bespoke fitted furniture in Milton Keynes, we knew the exact steps to take to complete this project to the highest standard.
What Furniche Did
The key to this project was creating a design that balanced beauty with serious functionality. Using our 3D design software, we recreated the client’s space and began experimenting with different layouts. After exploring their options, they settled on a bespoke wall display dresser that would make the most of the wall space.
Our clients fell in love with the Reed Green Shaker-style doors. The classic Shaker design is as classy as it gets, whilst the rich green colour adds personality without being overwhelming. We paired this with a luxurious marble MFC worktop that provides both durability and that high-end finish our clients were after.
The clever design features hide-and-slide doors over the display sections on either side. This means our clients can showcase their favourite pieces when they want to but also keep things looking neat and tidy when needed. We’ve also seamlessly integrated additional storage above, making brilliant use of the vertical space.
Once our clients approved the final design, the project moved to our in-house manufacturing team. Creating a piece of this scale requires precision and expertise – every measurement needs to be spot-on, and the finish quality has to be flawless throughout. Thanks to our team’s extensive experience, we delivered a piece that exceeded expectations on a surprisingly quick turnaround.
Installation day went smoothly, with our team working efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to our client’s routine. As you can see from the results, this custom-built entertainment unit has become a striking feature wall. The clients were absolutely thrilled with how it transformed their entire room!
